Fig & Willow’s Mission

Whether it’s a whimsical floral or a crisp, watercolor stripe, my goal is always the same: to design high-end, thoughtful surfaces that transform a house into a deeply personal home.

Designed with love in upstate New York

My design philosophy is rooted in the beauty of the handcrafted. Deeply inspired by heritage aesthetics—from vintage botanicals and cozy cottagecore to classic coastal leisure—I lean into rich textures, hand-drawn sketches, and organic, painterly details. Instead of rigid digital perfection, I believe a pattern should feel alive, capturing a sense of nostalgia while remaining entirely fresh and elegant.

    I have a strong affinity for heritage aesthetics like cottagecore, grandmillennial, modern farmhouse, and coastal grandmother. These styles all share a love for history, comfort, and timeless appeal.

Whimsical yet Sophisticated:  

     My work balances a playful, storybook quality with a refined, boutique finish that elevates everyday surfaces into art.

Handcrafted Integrity: Digital precision takes a backseat to the human touch. My designs heavily feature hand-drawn sketches, painterly florals, and artisanal linocut styles.

Organic Movement: Rather than rigid geometric setups, patterns flow naturally. There is a clear preference for fluid watercolor transitions, rich textures, and layouts that feel organic and alive.
